Akio Hayakawa
(早川 明男)

I am a PhD Student at the Large Scale Text Understanding Systems Lab at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) and currently supervised by Prof. Horacio Saggion. I am keen on the evaluation of natural language generation tasks, especially text simplification. With a Master’s degree in Education, I am also interested in the application of NLP for education.

Previously, I got Master in Engineering at the Natural Language Processing Lab at Nara Institute of Science and Technology (NAIST), supervised by Prof. Taro Watanabe.
